Medal group of three:

The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Commander - C.B.E., second type military issue neck badge, 1914 - 1920 British War Medal, Victory Medal (Both: S.LT.  R. G. H. LINZEE.  R. N.).

C.B. LG: 28/11/1944. The King has been graciously pleased to give orders for the following appointments to the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, for distinguished service in the planning of operations concerned with the invasion of Normandy:
Commander (Commodore Second Class) Robert Gordon Hood Linzee, C.B.E., Royal Navy (Retired).

C.B.E. LG: 1/1/1944. Acting Captain Robert Gordon Hood Linzee, O.B.E., Royal Navy (Retired).

O.B.E. LG: 16/8/1940. The King has been graciously pleased to give orders for the following Appointments to the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, for good services in organising the withdrawal to England, under fire and in the face of many great difficulties, of 335 490 Officers and Men of the Allied Armies, in about one thousand of His Majesty's Ships and other craft between 27th of May and the 4th of June 1940: -

Officer of the Miitary Division:
Commander Robert Gordon Hood Linzee, Royal Navy (Retired).

Born 26/1/1900 at Clare Priory, Suffolk. Great War pair verified. He retired as a Commander on 1/7/1936. It is not known to us what, if any, WW2 campaign medals he may be entitled to.
