Seven awards of the IOM to this regiment for WW 1, four awards for France & three for Egypt. Twenty seven awards of the IDSM to this regiment & one bar from 1907 - 1922. Twenty two awards & the bar were awarded for the Great War of which twenty awards & the bar were awarded for gallantry in France.
Two officers from this regiment were awarded both gallantry awards for France during WW 1, the other being Jemadar Muhammad Khan who was awarded his IOM in the same gazette.
